The North American Board of Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) accreditation is the only one available for solar, and there are less than a dozen solar installers in the U.S. that are accredited (Yes Solar is the only one in N.C.). This is NOT the same as NABCEP Certified, which is an individual certification. All solar companies would have at least one certification. “Accreditation” is a full company audit including safety records, employee training and benefits, risk assessment, and a physical third-party audit of project sites.
