Giving Tuesday with Yes Solar

Yes Solar Solutions’ home states of North and South Carolina were among those devastated by Hurricane Matthew and thousands are still homeless, hungry and without basic supplies. For Giving Tuesday, November 29, Yes Solar Solutions is hosting food drives through the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and the Lowcountry  Food Bank in Charleston South Carolina.

habitatAnd as part of our commitment to sustainable housing, this year we are again participating in the Habitat of Wake County’s “$60 for 60” campaign to build 60 homes this year.  To donate, fill in your information and either check “In honor of someone” and enter Yes Solar Solutions or just put it in comments. Any amount you can donate will make a difference with Yes Solar’s matching funds.

Giving Tuesday is November 29,  the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.  Founded by 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations Foundation, #GivingTuesday rallies, organizes and amplifies the philanthropic efforts of over 30, 000 organizations worldwide. In North Carolina, go to our Food Bank drive page, and click on one of the tabs to shop for a food category and send a few meals to those in need. Let’s make our $500 goal!  We can watch the progress as we make our donations, every dollar is worth $10 of food!
