Recycling Pioneers

On our “30 Day Action Challenge” list for how to make a difference this year is cleaning out your closets, and donating unused (gently worn is nice) items to a charity.  Coincidentally, your Yes solar maven finally got around to cleaning out her garage, and did exactly that over the holidays, making several trips to the Dorcas Ministries in Cary.  They are in a bright, clean building in Cary, sharing space with the new Habitat Restore, among others.  One stop donating, so to speak.  Dorcas is a non-profit run like a for-profit, and that is clear from the efficiency, cleanliness and management of the store and operation.  They are also pioneers in recycling, given the nature of their work.  They may be pioneers in the use of renewable energy too, if my sources are correct.  Stay tuned for some exciting news in the next few days.
