Process Of Home Solar Panels
Each consultation is personalized. We look at aerial imagery of your property to determine your home’s suitability and ask about your energy needs and financial goals. After reviewing your electric bills from the past 12 months, we will work on a preliminary proposal outlining ways solar enegy can benefit you and your property.
Our experienced Energy Specialists will provide answers and peace of mind.
Each proposal is customized to fit the layout of your roof, panel technology, energy production estimates, cost analysis, and financing options to align with your goals and budget.
Our software creates a 365-day sun rotation to factor in potential shading factors and the annual solar potential.
Our Design & Engineering team will survey your property and conduct a detailed site assessment to confirm roof condition, shading, structural integrity, and energy consumption patterns. This ensures optimal solar panel design and placement.
They will identify the locations where the equipment will be installed and if additional preparation is required.
The Design team will prepare the ‘Notice to Proceed’ (NTP). By signing this document, it confirms you are satisfied with the scope of work, and we can then move forward with permitting.
Our Project Coordinator submits all necessary applications to your local jurisdiction.
Once your jurisdiction issues the required permits, we schedule the solar installation date. Our certified technicians will install the solar panels at your home, with minimal disruption.
Some homeowners wake up to solar installers walking on their roofs, and by lunchtime, they see them wrapping up.
After your installation, our team performs a thorough inspection with the local inspector to verify safety and performance. We ensure the installation meets all expectations.
The local inspector must issue a Certificate of Compliance (COC) before we can proceed to the final step. When the inspection passes, our team will activate the solar panel system for you to start generating clean, renewable energy!
Our systems include integrated web-based monitoring to ensure optimal performance for your solar system’s consumption and production.
Your panels should not require much maintenance, however, events happen that cause your system to be serviced. If you have an issue, our dedicated service department will help troubleshoot the problem. Our goal is to make solar solutions simple.

Your proposal is built around your home’s unique roof layout, energy usage, budget, and goals. We outline recommended system options, estimated energy production, pricing, and financing paths so you can make a confident, informed decision.
Using advanced modeling software, we analyze year-round sun exposure and potential shading to design a system optimized for long-term performance.

Our Design team visits your property to complete a detailed site assessment, confirming roof condition, structural integrity, shading, and overall installation readiness. This step ensures your system is designed for safe, efficient, and long-term performance.
We also identify ideal equipment placement and note any site-specific preparation needed before installation begins.
Design & Permitting
Once your system design is finalized, we prepare your Notice to Proceed (NTP) for review and approval. This confirms that your work is ready to move forward.

Inspection & Activation
After installation, we coordinate a thorough inspection with your local jurisdiction to confirm your system meets all required safety and performance standards. This step ensures that everything has been completed correctly.
Once your system passes inspection and receives its Certificate of Compliance (COC), we finalize activation. From there, your system begins to generate clean, renewable energy for your home.
