Yes Solar Solutions is proud to have an Employee Solar Program in which our employees can invest in solar at cost. For this employee and his family, their Holly Springs home was the perfect candidate. A sunny east-facing back roof and west-facing front roof that easily passed approval by the HOA, solar made good sense. They were also considering a whole house generator.
The array they chose was 9.3 kW split between the front and back roofs. We used all-black Twin Peak REC 310 watt modules and a SolarEdge inverter and optimizers, resulting in 10, 316 kWh generated per year. They also installed two Tesla Powerwalls. That decision was guided by the federal tax credit being able to apply to both the solar array and the Powerwalls, the automatic response of the Powerwall, and its clean, quiet reliability. Besides the solar federal tax credit, the family qualified for the full Duke rebate. Combined with the Yes Solar Solutions employee discount, it was a “no-brainer”. The employee and family are thrilled with being able to support clean energy at work AND at home.
