Who says Homeowners’ Associations won’t approve solar on the front roof of a home? The Cary neighborhood HOA did not initially approve the application for solar on the front roof of this home on a corner lot. Between the homeowner’s diligence and Yes Solar Solutions’ support, (and neighbor petitions) we were able to appeal and convince the architectural committee that the 8.75 kW solar array would not detract from the home’s appearance, based on our providing renderings and specifications on the Solaria Power XT-350 panels. And installing the system anywhere else on the roof would be not be feasible, due decreased production from any other orientation. In the end, everyone was happy with the installation and it is a showcase for clean energy. And for the neighborhood.
