Solarize Triad Launch

Solarize NCThe latest Solarize program from the non-profit NC WARN launches January 24, 2015.  The community solar program uses tiered pricing to drive down the cost of solar for all home and business owners who sign up.  NC WARN reduces the soft cost by marketing and promoting the program, and as the number of installations increase the price goes down for everyone.

The sign up period ends April 17, 2015 and Yes Solar Solutions is a designated installer, as it have been for four Solarize programs in 2014.  This grassroots initiative for community solar started in Portland Oregon several years ago, and has swept the country.  The first North Carolina program was in Asheville in 2013, and Solarize Durham was the first in the Triangle, followed by Solarize Carrboro, Solarize Chatham and Solarize Orange.  All four programs reached at least Tier 3 pricing, and Solarize Chatham reached Tier 5.

Solarize Triad will include Greensboro (all of Guilford County) and Winston-Salem (all of Forsyth County) and will close for enrollment April 17, 2015, at which time final tiered pricing will be announced.  For more information visit Solarize Triad or attend a free information session at:
