The Yes Solar Garden has been in the planning stages for three years, but this spring, it finally became a reality. Go figure the sun is good for more than just solar panels, it grows food. We have had a bounty of zucchini and summer squash, herbs, several kinds of peppers and cucumbers (look at the lettuce!) Just starting are the tomatoes, green beans and the long awaited watermelon. It warms the heart to see our hot and weary solar stars head home at night with the makings of a salad or dinner, but what a team building experience.
