When Nick S. first chose Yes Solar Solutions for his business, Carrboro Pediatrics, he was making an investment in clean energy. More than 15 years later, when it was time to install solar at his home, he didn’t look elsewhere.
Recently, Nick reached out to our Service Team with a question about his home’s solar production. While reviewing the system’s performance, our team noticed an opportunity to improve output and scheduled a visit to take a closer look.

Wyatt, Chris, and Tre, spent time reviewing the system and working through several possibilities. Finding any answer requires patience, collaboration, and attention to detail. The team continued investigating until they identified the cause and corrected it.
For Nick, what stood out was not only the solution; it was the team’s determination to keep working until they had one. After the visit, he shared this feedback:
“Big shoutout to Wyatt, Chris and Chris 3 (aka Tre) for working so hard yesterday to FINALLY sort out my issue. I could see the wheels turning in their heads as we tried to sort out why one of my strings was underperforming. Turns out, two of the panels were mis-wired. I’m a bit sad to have lost some production, but I’m super satisfied with your team’s willingness to continue to hound dog it until we figured it out. Thanks for the great service.”

As part of our review, we calculated the value of the energy production affected by the issue. Although Nick never asked for compensation, we felt it was important to make it right. We reimbursed him for the lost production and were grateful for the opportunity to earn his trust once again.
