Architect Louis Cherry and Marsha Gordon’s home in the historic Oakwood neighborhood got backing this week from the N.C. Court of Appeals. The design, by his firm, Louis Cherry Architecture, originally included solar panels, but the expensive and time consuming battle over the already permitted construction delayed the solar project until 2015. Yes Solar Solutions was lucky enough to install the 7.15 kW solar system on the home, virtually invisible to the neighbors.
