This Chapel Hill homeowner took advantage of the Duke Energy PowerPair incentive—offering up to $9,000. As a Duke Energy Carolinas customer, they were eligible for the incentive when installing a new solar and storage system in their home.
The residents chose a 10.63 kW solar system with a Tesla Powerwall 3 for their battery backup solution. Their solar system features 25 Q Cells 425W Q Tron panels and 9 Tesla optimizers. Their new solar system is estimated to produce approximately 11,624 kWh annually.
That’s not all! This homeowner also bundled in a home Tesla Wallbox EV charger as part of their project. About two months later, the homeowner returned to us to add a Tesla Powerwall Expansion Unit. The expansion unit will double the system’s storage capacity to a total of 27 kWh of backup storage. Now that’s an electrified home!
We also had the honor of sharing this beautiful home in a video showcasing what our Yes Solar Solutions installation day looks like. https://youtu.be/_631hpwWl8s
When our team was on-site installing, we also noticed two familiar sites on the same road. This was our team’s third rooftop solar installation on that very street. If any of your neighbors may be interested in going solar, we would love to give them the same amazing experience. We tailor every solar system to each owner’s energy needs and goals. Our team is made up of experts and can guide you through any solar incentives that you may be eligible for based on your specific project.
