Yes! Solar Solutions of Cary was privileged to install the 20.0 kilowatt photovoltaic system at Town of Cary’s Firestation Number 8, a ballasted array on the rubber membrane roof consisting of 77 Suniva 260 watt modules and 77 TIGO maximizers, plus 4 solar collectors for the hot water system. A flat panel screen with Deck monitoring shows real time production of the panels, along with the environmental benefits accruing. Fire Station no. 8 is part of a comprehensive plan on the part of the Town of Cary to promote sustainability. Look for more exciting projects to come.
