The system features 152 Solar4America panels with one SolarEdge inverter and 76 SolarEdge optimizers. Yes Solar is a premium partner of Solar4America panels. These are American-made solar panels that allow developers to claim an additional 10% investment tax credit.
The heart of downtown
The Rogers Building is a mixed-use redevelopment project in downtown Cary, incorporating the former Rogers Restaurant and Motel site along with an adjacent parcel. Previously owned and operated by Bill and Barbara Rogers, who retired in the 1990s, the restaurant held a central place in the Cary community.
Chatham Street is between Rogers Alley and Walker Street. The project features 10,000 RSF of street-front retail and 40,000 RSF of class-A office space. Comprising two buildings, Rogers West and Rogers East, connects through a 3-story atrium-style lobby. The development draws architectural inspiration from the mid-century modern design of the Rogers Restaurant in the heart of downtown Cary.
The developer is enhancing Rogers Alley with various features, including pavers, street lamps, overhead market lights, and removable bollards. The intention is to create a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly space by enabling the closure of vehicular traffic when desired.
The Chatham Street partners have developed many projects in Cary like Mid-Town Square and Chatham Walk. This provides a major update on the revitalization of the downtown corridor. Their family roots tie deeply to the town of Cary for more than 150 years. It comes as no surprise that the developers focus on developments that improve quality of life for Cary residents. The Chatham Street partners received the Business Persons of the Year by the Triangle Business Journal.
