We have two team members that received their North American Board of Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Solar Installer PV Certification recently. Congratulations to our Installation Crew Manager, Rob Smith, and one of our Solar Installers, Brad Almond for receiving their certifications.
Rob has been with Yes Solar Solutions since the beginning. He started as a Solar Installer, moved up to a Project Manager, and now is the Installation Crew Manager.
Rob oversees all planning, permitting, installation, scheduling, technician training, and safety. He has his 30-hour OSHA certification as well as his Certified Green Professional designation.
While all of our Solar Technicians have had the NABCEP Entry level PV training, passing the Solar PV Installer Certification exam is no easy task.
Brad was installing an affordable housing complex, working long hours out of town in South Carolina, in the days before taking the exam. Brad’s degree is from UNC Wilmington with additional classes from Appalachian State in solar and appropriate technology.
