About Kathy
Kathy and her husband Stew founded Yes Solar Solutions, a Woman Owned Small Business, in 2009. Kathy, for 17 years, worked at NCR Corporation, starting as an account manager, then a District Manager and then as a Regional Director of Sales for the East Coast. She met her husband Stew Miller at NCR and they each moved up the corporate ladder separately for different divisions. She left in 1994 and built the Primrose School of Cary, a private preschool and child care center. In 1996, she built and opened a second location, and after six months, Stew left NCR to join her in operating the schools. They built a third location in 2000, and in 2005 sold all three schools. Together, they renovated and flipped properties until founding Yes Solar Solutions in 2009.
